profile / aaron day Aaron Day began as a musician and audio engineer and went on to found the time-based media department at Method Inc. in San Francisco from 1999 - 2001. Since then he has been living and working in Berlin, developing systems for the use of sounds in human-computer interaction, including applications of sound in product design, audio environments and as time-based art. As a sound designer, he co-founded Receive-Transmit with Robert Connelly in Australia. Projects include global strategy development for the use of sound in mobile products for Samsung, development of audio logos for Siemens and AT&T creating branded soundtracks for Audi, as well as sound design for films. |
